Okay, so I watched the movie a few times and I have to say, it really isn't scary. The only thing creepy about the movie is the beginning, as it seems she was the most bloodiest work there was. Then they show the girls daughter who is a classical scaredy cat, after a while and a few murders, I should say that the deaths are original, but this horror film is also comedic.
When Cindy supposedly sleeps whit the psycho killer is practically one of the only good things that happen in the movie. You would think the boyfriend would be killed alongside, whit his girl at the end but pych a sick twist is about to fears your eyes. The boyfriend and his friend are the real assassins, and he ends up killing his buddy.
It is a stupendous work. What nobody would expect, out of a horror movie, an ending whit the main characters still alive, and a side character killing the assasin. When everyone was doomed out comes the super hot cliche news girl and to the rescue. But i gotta say it was a masterpiece which would have follow-ups greater than it. The 3rd movie was the best yet.
Ass I sum this up, I think that the movie is extremely great its been a few years, and its still extremely popular. The sad thing really is that some morons dared filter whit its greatness creating scary mpvie. Scream is not something to meddled whit, people should know this. Leave the classics alone. Anyways if I could grade it I would give it a 9.7.
