Famous Dirty Harry Movie Quotations
One of Clint Eastwood’s most memorable movies, Dirty Harry, was released in 1971. He plays the San Francisco inspector, Harry Callahan, who is assigned to track down a serial killer who makes ransom demands of the city. Along with a new partner, Chico Gonzales, played by Reni Santoni, he wages war on the killer.
He’s called “Dirty” by his fellow police officers because of his attitude and use of methods not quite prescribed by law. He has no patience for the way society coddles criminals and the justice system that lets sociopaths loose on technicalities. You won't be spinning your wheels on this one! It's a winner of a movie. Classic action at it's best.
In apprehending a robber who tentatively reaches for his gun, Callahan points his revolver directed at the wounded man and utters the famous line:
“…you’ve got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?”
