Okay. Here we go. She hits the berg on the starboard side, right? She kind of bumps along, punching holes in it like Morse code--dit-dit-dit, along the side, below the water line. Then, the forward compartments start to flood. Now, as the water level rises, it spills over the water-tight bulk heads, which unfortunately don't go any higher than 'E' deck. So, now as the bow goes down, the stern rises up, slow at first, then faster and faster, until finally she's got her whole ass stickin' up in the air. Now, that's a big ass. We're talkin' 20, 30 thousand tons. Okay, now the hold's not designed to deal with that kind of pressure, so what happens? She splits, right down to the keel, and the stern falls back-level. Then, as the bow sinks, it pulls the stern vertical, and finally detaches. Now, the stern section just kind of bobs there like a cork for a minute or two, then floods and goes under about 2:20 a.m. two hours and forty minutes after the collision. The bow section planes away, landing about half a mile away, going abouit 20, 30 knots when it hits the ocean floor. Pretty cool, huh?

She hits the berg on the starboard side and it sort of bumps along... punching holes like a morse code... dit dit dit, down the side. Now she's flooding in the forward compartments... and the water spills over the tops of the bulkheads. As her bow is going down, her stern is coming up... slow at first... and then faster and faster until it has it's ass up on the air, and we're talking 20 maybe 30 thousand tons... so the hull can't deal with all that pressure so what happens...SKRTTT!! She splits! Right down to the keel. Now the bow swings down and the stern falls back level... but the bow pulls the stern up vertical, and then finally detaches. Now the stern bobs there like a cork for a couple of minutes, floods and goes under about 2:20 a.m. Two hours and forty minutes after the collision. The bow pulls out of its dive and planes away, almost a half a mile, before it hits the bottom floor...BOOM! BOOM! Pretty cool, huh.

Ok here we go she hits the berg on the starboard side right? and it kinda bumps along punchin holes like morse code dit-dit-dit along the side below the waterline.then the forward compartments start to flood.now as the waterlevel rises it spills over the watertight bulkheads which unfortunatly dont go any higher than E-deck.as the bow goes down the stern rises up.slow at first then faster and fasteer finally she got her whole ask just sticking in the air and that's a big ask we're talking 20-30 thousand tons.now the hulls not designed to deal with that pressure so what happens?KKCK! it splits right down to the keel and the stern falls back level then as the bow sinks it pulls the stern vertical and finally detaches.the stern section bobs there like a cork for a couple of minutes, floods and finally goes under about 2:20AM 2hrs and 40mins after the collision.the bow section plains away.landing about a 1/2 a mile going 20-30 knots when it hist the ocean floor. pretty cool huh?
