Plot – Jake is a failed writer. He flees New York and ends up in Atlantic City, where his friend Frankie lives and where he meets Melissa. His friendship for the first and his love for the second make him want to live again. However, he will have to face a number of obstacles: Melissa has a relationship with Frankie, who is caught up in a round of dirty business. Jake will thus have to find a way to stay afloat, poised between betrayal and the temptation to live a gangster's life.
