Plot – Ready Player One is a 2018 American science fiction action-adventure film based on Ernest Cline's 2011 novel of the same name. It is set in 2045 where people can escape their harsh reality in the OASIS, an immersive virtual world where you can go anywhere, do anything and be anyone. OASIS creator James Halliday wants to leave his immense fortune and control of the Oasis to the player who can find his Easter Egg. One average teenager named Wade Watts solves the first clue, he sparks excitement and now he and his friends are thrown into a fantastical universe of discovery and danger to save the OASIS.
