Plot – Boyhood is a 2014 American epic coming-of-age drama film. Set in Texas, it was filmed for 12 years, from 2001 to 2013, and follows the childhood and adolescence of Mason Evans Jr. from ages six to eighteen as he grows up in Texas with divorced parents. Adolescence, road trips, family dinners, birthdays and graduations, we see all the important moments in the life of Mason, as he grows up on screen right before our eyes.
