Plot – Andrew Beckett, a young lawyer, is dismissed from his job: his supervisors say he was not competent, but Andrew states he has been fired because he suffers from AIDS. Now he is determined to defend his reputation and hires a lawyer, Joe Miller, to represent him in a case for illegitimate dismissal. Joe is reluctant to accept it because the two men are different socially and culturally. He will face a different struggle now, comparing himself with his own fears and prejudices on homosexuality.
